Marilyn Snyder (owner/instructor) knew from a very young age that animals would somehow be a part of her future. Living her dream, K-9 Kollege has been providing quality and affordable training services to the Springfield and surrounding area since 1986. Earning a B. S. in Education, Marilyn chose teaching dogs & owners in lieu of the traditional classroom. Marilyn's energetic delivery makes her classes fun & interesting.  She has enjoyed competing and instructing dog agility since 1994, earning the coveted AKC Master Agility Champion(MACH) title & USDAA Agility Dog Champion (ADCH) title in 2004 with her Australian Shepherd, Roper (1997-2009) and CPE C-ATCH with Hemi. She shares her life with her Husband Tad, 3 dogs (Moose, Hemi & Joker) 2 cats (Steiny & Angus). Marilyn instructs the Puppy Plus, Beginning Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Reactive Dog, Agility and Dog Trick Classes. As a fifth generation Springfielder, Marilyn is committed to her community.  A 1986 Leadership Academy graduate, Marilyn earned the 1991 Leader of the Year award because of her involvement within the Springfield area.  She thanks her husband & family for their love and support.

Karen Parrill, associate instructor, has been instructing classes for K-9 Kollege for 7 years. An avid agility enthusiast, Karen instructs and competes in dog agility and enjoys other activities with her dogs such as parades, demonstrations and dog trick contests.
